Our Story
A family of five,
one shared vision.
We are three sisters, a mother, and a father. A family for whom Indian clothing was never just fabric. It was identity, memory, and pride. We grew up draping simple cotton suits with the quiet confidence of people who knew exactly what they were wearing and why.
Living in London, we noticed something missing. The beauty of Indian fashion was everywhere, borrowed freely by Western brands, stripped of its name, its origin, its meaning. We decided to do the opposite.
Neerey Studio is our answer. A space where Indian brands are given the platform they deserve, where Western audiences can discover the real thing, and where simplicity is celebrated as the ultimate luxury.
नीरे — nearness. Something precious, brought close.
But the name carries something deeper than a meaning. Neerey is our mother's nickname, the name her own mother gave her, back in Amritsar, Punjab. A name called out across the room, shouted down the hall, whispered with warmth. Never formal. Always full of love.
There is something about a name like that, worn in, passed down, said a thousand times. It carries a whole world inside it. Punjab, family, home. We chose it because that is exactly what we want this studio to feel like. Not a transaction. Something closer than that.
